Word Scramble

This was my first large border. Over the years, the pine trees have grown so much that most of the area is in total shade. It has become very difficult to grow anything here. Until I can get a few trees cut down, I just let whatever plant that can tolerate the environment grow. Sweet William reseeds like crazy, which at least gives some color during July.

August 16, 2002-I am so happy to report that today I had 2 of the large pine trees cut down in this area. I am eagerly awaiting next year to see what I can do now that more sunlight is available.
