Bringing your garden inside...
This morning I was in the mood to reset my dining room table (another of my quirky passions!). I collect dishes & have MANY different patterns to choose from. After pulling out a vintage fruit tablecloth, I started looking for plates and decided these Ridgways Tuberose were a nice combination. I used a different fruit themed salt & pepper set on top of each bread plate, three different stemmed glasses and gold flatware. To complete the table I grabbed some scissors and went out to my gardens--these yellow heliopsis worked perfectly. For a bit of contrast I also inserted a few butterfly bush flowers.

After a week I had to change the centerpiece.

I used Sedum Autumn Joy this time

I am expecting an added benefit to using the Sedum Autumn Joy for this centerpiece. Sedum AJ roots very easily. By the time I remove this centerpiece, it should have rooted and I will replant in my gardens--about two dozen more Sedum AJ plants for next year!
